Welcome to the City of Stephenson! Stephenson is a City of 860 people located in the middle of Menominee County, Michigan. The City has a Mayoral form of government with a Council of six persons.
The City has several parks set up with horseshoe courts, a ball diamond, pavilions available for day use or rental, and a seasonal ice rink. Tennis courts and basketball hoops are also available for public use.
The City has many businesses, which include family-style restaurants and quick service eateries, bars and craft beverage producers, general retailers and gift shops, and a number of specialty service providers.
The City also provides safe drinking water, a sanitary sewer system, and its own electrical system with power being purchased from Wisconsin Public Service. A K-12 school system which services the Mid-County area is also located in the City.
Many other recreational opportunities are available in our area, such as small and large game hunting, and inland and great lakes fishing and trapping.
